Relationship Between Plans & Inspections
Plans are the blueprints for each individual inspection. For example, you create a plan once with specifications for each characteristic for a certain part, and then you create a new inspection report, based off of the plan, for each lot of parts you inspect.
If the part changes, you can create a new revision of the plan, which you can then use for future inspections.
Manufacturing vs. Supplier Plans & Inspections
Manufacturing plans and inspections are used when you are creating and inspecting the part. The manufacturing plans will be used as templates for various stages of inspections (setup, in-process, final, etc.) for each part you produce.
Supplier Plans and inspections will only appear in your account when the suppliers you provide with 1Factory accounts share plans and inspections for the parts they produce for you.
