Entering data for a single part
1factory's Manufacturing First Article and Receiving First Article screens are designed for recording measurements for a single part. These screens are designed around the requirements of the aerospace, medical device and semiconductor equipment industries, where First Articles imply a single part or piece being measured.
The associated reports (standard, AS9102 etc.) are designed for reporting data for a single part.
Entering data for multiple parts:
If instead of one piece, you are inspecting an incoming batch of parts (more than one part) as your first article, please use "Receiving Inspections" and select "inspection type = First". See screenshot below.
