To use 1factory's Gage Management functionality, you must first setup the following List of Values:
1. Gage Types: e.g. Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gage, CMM etc.
2. Gage Make: e.g. Mitutoyo, Starrett, Hexagon etc.
3. Gage Locations: This list answers the question "where will I find this gage?" Examples of locations include: Milling Work Center, Tool Crib, Lathe Department, Cal Vendor etc. We recommend that every work-center within your factory, along with the tool crib, as well as external locations such as Calibration Vendor be included in this list.
4. Calibration Vendors: Add all your calibration vendors here. For example, you may have two calibration vendors: Express Calibration, and Speedy Calibration.
To setup these lists:
1. click on the down-arrow next to your user name (top-right-hand corner of the screen).
2. Then select the "List of Values" menu.
3. On the List of Values page, click on the dropdown and select each List as shown below. Make sure to save after adding to / editing the list.
