We had multiple upgrades this week, and we deployed some new features (listed below).
1. Naming Inspections, Parts and Groups
In this release, we've made all Inspection Identifiers, and the Row (Part) Identifier and Group Identifier fields "free-form" text. You can now set these field names to best support your business requirements (instead of selecting from a pre-defined list).
1A. Inspection Identifiers:
-- Each Inspection, can be identified by up to two identifiers. For example, you may organize your Manufacturing Inspections by Work Order (Mfg Identifier 1), and within each Work Order, you may have a Batch Number (Mfg Identifier 2).
1B. Group identifier:
-- For batch processes such as Injection Molding, you may want to identify which Cavity each part came from. In this case, you can set Group Identifier to Cavity Number.
-- You can then filter the associated Feature Performance charts to see how each Cavity performs.
1C. Row (Part) Identifier:
-- Each individual part can be identified by a Serial Number or Unit Number for further traceability.
2. Usage Metrics
In this release, we have also added Usage Metrics. Admin users can now see a bar-chart of the number of measurements entered by each user.
As always, we are available to answer any questions. We also welcome any feedback related to these or other changes. You can reach us at the email or number below.
