Over the last few weeks we've made a number of enhancements to the system. Here's a summary of the changes / new features.
1. Read-Only User Role
You can now create read-only user accounts in the system. Read-only users will not be able to modify any data, but are able to view plans, inspections, NCRs/CAPAs/SCARs, and dashboards, run all reports and download data for further analysis.
2. Linking NCRs to CAPA and SCAR
We have added bi-directional hyperlinks between NCRs and CAPA (or NCRs and SCAR). With the new design, multiple NCRs can be associated with a single CAPA or single SCAR.
From the NCR, you can click on the thunderbolt icon in the left-hand navigation to either CREATE a New CAPA (or SCAR) or LINK an Existing CAPA (or SCAR).
From within the CAPA or SCAR, you can click on Linked NCRs to view a list of associated NCRs.
These links are active (i.e. hyperlinks), and you can navigate back and forth between the NCR and CAPA (or SCAR) as needed. Related NCRs, CAPAs and SCARs will also show up in the corresponding reports.
3. SCAR and PPAP Workflows
We have modified the SCAR and PPAP collaboration workflows. Both SCARs and PPAPs now have the following five states:
SCARs (or PPAPs) start off as New (i.e. Draft), and must be moved to Assigned to send on to supplier. When your supplier has finished their work, they can change status to Submitted. And finally, you can set status to Approved or Rejected.
