August 2019 New Features

On Thu Aug 8, 2019, we will deploy the following enhancements:

1. Sampling Tables:

We will add the following sampling tables:

• MIL-STD-1916 Attributes Sampling Plan for Lot Inspection
• MIL-STD 1916 Variables Sampling Plan for Lot Inspection

2. Sampling Rules
We will add the following sampling rules:

• Setup (results in a sample size of 1)
• First Piece (results in a sample size of 1)
• Start of Roll (results in a sample size of 1)
• First and Last (results in a sample size of 2)
• Start and End of Roll (results in a sample size of 2)

3. Supplier Inspections under Feature Performance
You will be able to analyze inspection data shared by your suppliers. Previously this capability was limited to your internal data from Manufacturing Inspections and Receiving Inspections.

Under Analytics, select Feature Performance, and then select a part number from the Supplier Inspections tab. 1factory will retrieve data from all the inspections for that part number, and you can then review individual feature performance. 

Analytics -> Feature Performance->Choose Plan:

Note: This feature will work only if you are receiving data from your suppliers through 1factory.

First Column Setting:

As before, you can set a global default under settings, so that your inspections have one of the following four options for the first column:
- None
- Serial Number
- Roll or Box Number
- Date Code



For example, if you set First Column = "Serial Number", then all Plans and associated Inspections created from that point on will show "Serial Number" as first column.

Plan or Part Specific Setting:
in addition, the global default can be over-written at the QC Plan level. So now you can have some Plans with Serial Number and others with None or Date Code as the first column.
