Happy New Year! We are kicking off the new year with a list of enhancements.
1. Multiple Language Capability:
All 1factory screens are now multi-lingual. Simply go to Settings and select which language you want your screens in.
*Note: Not all words have been translated. we believe we are 80% of the way through the system. Feedback and corrections are welcome.
2. Lot Switching for ANSI Z1.4 Level II:
Supplier performance may improve (or deteriorate) over time. As supplier performance improves (or deteriorates), you want to inspect fewer (or more) parts. You can now achieve this via Lot Switching without having to update the QC Plan.
In the QC Plan, you must set sampling to Z1.4_II and select the required AQL. Then during the Inspection, you can set Switching to Normal (i.e. no change) or Reduced (i.e. check fewer parts), or Tightened (i.e. check more parts).
1factory will automatically adjust sample size based on the Switching Rule selected.
3. Enhanced Comments
We now have multiple ways of adding comments:
1. Add a measurement (cell) level comment [Select cell, then click on Comment]
2. Add a column level comment [Select column, then click on Mark R/C]
3. Add a row level comment [Select row, then click on Mark R/C]
Problem Classification: The Measurement level comment also includes a problem type classification field. You can select the reason why that measurement failed (e.g. over-sized, scratched etc.)
Rework Indicator: The Mark R/C (Row/Column) feature now allows you to mark a Row i.e. a Part as "Reworked".
